Book of the Year 2024

It was a proud moment when THE VOICE TO PARLIAMENT HANDBOOK was named ABIA Book of the Year 2024. It was also the winner of the Australian Book Industry Awards Social Impact Book of the Year and General Non-fiction Book of the Year.

Written by Thomas Mayo and Kerry O’Brien, edited by Bernadette Foley and published by Hardie Grant Explore to inform voters in the lead up to the 2023 referendum.

Sadly, the referendum was not successful, but we hope this book helped to inform many voters and encouraged conversations around the country.
